The City of North Vancouver presents the Fun City Festival! Lonsdale Avenue will host Slide the City and Car-Free Day, a two-day event that will once again attract thousands of visitors from across the region. Rebranded as the Fun City Festival, it will take place on Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14 in the Dockyard District. On the agenda: even more fun! Slide the City's popular 305-metre water slide returns, along with Car-Free Day, transforming Lower Lonsdale into a pedestrian-only zone dedicated to water slides. Enjoy music and live performances on multiple stages, local artisans, street performers, food trucks, an outdoor brewery, restaurant patios, and a children's area with crafts, entertainment, and activities. Parking is limited, so consider biking, walking, or using public transit.
